Tzaneria
The sandy beach of Tzaneria is located about 7 kilometers southwest of the town of Skiathos in a small and quite hospitable bay.
Koukounaries
The most famous beach of the island, also known as "Golden Sand". With very fine sand and shallow waters that combine perfectly with the lush landscape surrounding it.
Megali Ammos
A busy and organized beach with easy access. Although it is almost two kilometers from town it has many taverns and shops.
Vasilias
A beach that has has been known as the last destination of the Byzantine emperors. According to tradition, they chose the Vasilias's beach to rest. Today, it is an oasis with olive trees and towering pines for bathing and sunbathing.
Achladies
A sandy beach with beautiful and rocky surroundings and very easy access. A great place for windsurfing!
Kalamaki
A cape with three different beaches. Among them is the well-known Kanapitsa Bay. Sclethri and Tzaneria are the other two.
Vromolimnos
This young beach is named after a small lake, which today looks like a dried mud. It's quiet waters are only troubled by the cafes and taverns.
Kolios
One of the most famous beaches on the island. In the small creek, you can find everything from taverns, hostels, to camping in order to make your holidays unforgettable.
Troulos
A beach for families. With crystal clear and shallow waters to enjoy your bath with your children, letting them enjoy the sun.
Banana
The most cosmopolitan beach of the island consists of the Big and the Small Banana, also known as Krasa Bay. Previously, it was nudist beach. Today it is the most visited beach for young people, a beach famous for its water sports and its wild parties.
St. Helen
A quiet beach for families with a green landscape. Following the dirt road you can also visit the little Chapel from which the beach was named after.
Mandraki
To get here, you have to cross the forest or go by boat. Then you can head to Agistro, Xerxes harbor or go to Elia Bay for a quiet and secluded bath.
Aselinos
A beach with thick sand, fine pebbles and deep waters. To come here, you need to walk on a dirt path. Otherwise, you can use a small boat. If you are hungry you can visit the small tavern.
Kechria
A bay that is located on the north side of the island. You can access it by boat or you can follow a dirt road. After the walk you can enjoy the crystal clear waters and the golden sand.
Kastro
A beach located at the foot of the medieval city of the island. With crystal clear waters and imposing natural scenery. Do not hesitate to visit the ruins of the ancient city and look at the view from above.
Agia Paraskevi
A beach next to the chapel of Agia Paraskevi. With hotels, taverns and clear waters to swim and enjoy the sun.
Ksanemos
Three wonderful beaches with thick pebbles and cool waters. Opposite Skopelos, in the area of Kefalas, you can find the marvelous ruins of a prehistoric settlement.
Lechuni
A beach with a great tradition, since according to the urban myth of the island, Nikotsaras, the hero of the Greek Revolution of 1821, is buried here. A place characterized by wild beauty with a rocky area full of white pebbles.
Lalaria
The beach that made Skiathos famous and whose image is known around the world. A huge stone with the famous hole in the middle is one of Nature's miracles that adorns the white pebbles of the beach. Its waters are cut off from the rest of the island and you can only visit it by sea.
Tsougria
East of the southern tip of Skiathos and less than 2 miles from the port, there is a magnificent island, Tsougria.
Maratha
Maratha Beach is located in the southern part of Skiathos. It is about 10.8km from the town of Skiathos and is located under the provincial road of Skiathos Palace Hotel with easy access.
